Mark Adame, Broker, SIOR, CCIM

Mark returned to Corpus Christi in the summer of 2000, where he joined Joe Adame & Associates, Inc. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University in College Station and specializes in Industrial & Retail real estate investment and development.

Before joining Joe Adame & Associates, Inc., Mark honed his expertise in commercial real estate within the structured debt group at Bank of America in Houston, Texas. During his tenure there, he focused on credit analysis and debt structuring for prominent retail, industrial, and multi-family REITs, as well as development opportunity funds across the nation. Mark’s early career achievements include earning the prestigious designations of CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors).

Mark’s primary strength lies in his ability to forge connections and leverage his extensive network. With 25 years of experience in the South Texas market, he continues to cultivate relationships established by his father and mentor, Joe Adame, a renowned figure in Corpus Christi’s business community and former Mayor of the city.

Known for his candor, Mark is respected for providing honest assessments, even if it means advising against a transaction. This approach has earned him widespread respect in the Corpus Christi market, where his recommendations are highly regarded.

Mark’s advisory approach integrates current real estate conditions, market inventory, construction costs, and interest rates to offer informed recommendations to his clients. Beyond brokerage services, his comprehensive understanding of the development landscape, including construction costs and navigating City Development Services, proves invaluable to clients unfamiliar with the Corpus Christi market.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Mark is deeply involved in community initiatives. He has served on the Board of Directors for prominent organizations such as the Corpus Christi Downtown Management District, Goodwill Industries of South Texas, and the advisory boards of Kleberg Bank and Plains Capital Bank. Mark’s commitment to community service extends to roles on the Corpus Christi Planning & Zone Commission, as a board member at The Corpus Christi Country Club, the Ronald McDonald House, and United Way.
